A lovely authentic antique from the 19th century opera glasses, for sale as a styling prop  and adorned with beautifully lustrous mother of pearl (there is a section missing, clearly shown) 
 
The glasses extend using the central mechanism, you can see the patina of age and the small areas of verdigris which I find charming.
 
The glasses no longer work as the interior lense has come loose so are for display only, and they do display with an elegance redolent of the glamour of the Opera Garnier.
 
They are 4" wide and 2.25" to 3" extended.
