A wonderful find in a Paris fleamarket from the Latin Quarter. A leather style fabric solid box with drawers from a Parisian shop.
 
 It is marked in gold with the Cartier Bresson logo and name on the tops, side and drawer. It dates from the late 19th to early 20th century, so is an antique. 
 
This Cartier Bresson, Paris chest of drawers was used in an old haberdashery shop in Paris, placed on the counter to hold all the different colours of thread.  
 
Inside the drawers it has the original dividers with the colours and reference numbers inside. The dividers may come lose in transit as all are not glued in place, they can easily be placed back in position. The drawers are wonderful to house small collections.
 
The drawers are made of thick quality cardboard, covered with textured leatherette.  There are some areas of wear, particularly at the corners of the drawers, but for its age and life in a Paris store, it is in remarkable condition.
 
It is 14" long, 12" wide and 7" tall.
