In their timeworn glory, these collectible tins have been kept and reused in French households, holding and organising treasures from lace and ribbon to buttons and nails!
All are in used timeworn condition and have been wiped clean with a soft cloth on the outside to preserve patina. You can choose your favourites from the pull down menu. All photograph well to add detail to a vignette or display.
The first pair has athe largest tin, once used for mementos, it depicts sailing ships and the second has a humouous cartoon of dogs in gentleman's costumes, popular in France around the turn on the 19th century. These measure 6" and 10" long. The sailing ship tin has a lock but sadly no key!
The second is a pair of pastille tins, small enough to pop into a pocket or bag, measuring 3.25" and 4" long
The blue Zoo Zeema dog skin remedy tin is sold on its own, it is just over 3.5" tall
The two neutral babyfood tins measure 7" and 4.75" tall. The smaller is a baby flour and the larger a preparation for 'the most exquisite' dinner, sold at Rue Francois I in the smartest area of Paris.
