A beautiful French brayer book or Paroissien dating from 1902, it has the holiday calendar inside.
 
The cover is ivory coloured cellulose and embossed both sideswih pansies for thoughts and the cross, there is a clip for keeping the book shut and the pages are edged with gold.
 
Inside there is the name of the owner, Marie Louise Lefèvre in her own hand and an illustration. The edges of the pages have a lovely design around the edge.
