A choice of two different versions of Dundee Keiller jam pots, available separately.
The first (A) is a creamy colour, there is some gentle crazing and fading of the typography, maybe from manufacture. Underneath is stamped 'Pot made in England' indicating that this was an export pot, as the weight is in French metric as well as 1lb. Dundee marmalade was enjoyed in France too.
It is in great condition, there is one area on the rim that looks like a chip but it is glazed over so probably original. It stands 4.5" tall.
The second (B) is older, stamped Gold Medal London 1862 and Vienna 1875, dating it to the late 1800s. It's unique feature is a large manufacturing fault on the side the glaze has not covered and it is textured, there is a small crack in the side at this point.
This pot measures 4.25" tall.
Both were found in France.
