An exceptional jardinère, found in Paris. The metal container in the centre would have been planted and the ensemble used as a decorative centrepiece. It is useable for planting today, or a wonderful way to draw attention to a beloved collection.
 
The jardinère dates from the mid 1800s it is very ornate in design with a fan shaped centrepiece topped with flowers amd ornate scrolled handles and feet.
 
It is tarnished with some silverplate loss from being polished, if you have a passion for patina and antiques that show the passage of time, then this is a wonderful addition to your decor.
 
It is marked Deposé with its patent number inside, the jardinère and measures 10" across and 5" high  and approximately 5" deep.
