Such agorgeous rare and collectible cup with so much to love! It has a beautiful fluted shape, highlighted by the pink hand applied edging and pattern in the convex areas,  with the most beautiful flowers in pink and blue, hand coloured. The saucer is equisitely decorated too. 
 
It is made by Luneville, one of my favourite ceramicists in France, and the mark on the base dates it from 1880.
 
The cup has been used and there is some light tea staining, predominately inside the cup and some age related light crazing. It remains useable for hot chocolate or a perfect café au lait French style.
 
The cup measures 4.75 by 3" and the saucer 8" diameter.
