The classic French ironstone tureen, perfect to display stacked or perhaps planted with bulbs.
 
This tureen has enjoyed a good life and has minor signs of its long usefulness in a French home, it has a few small old chips on the rim and an old chip on the base. 
 
Underneath it is stamped with the elegant Luneville crest dating it from the end of the 19th to the early 20th century
