A large bentwood grain measure from an old Paris store, dating back to the days when dry provisions were sold loose. The measure bears the official mark, showing this is an authentic calibrated measure.
 
The size is 5 litres or 10 US pints, it measures 8.5" tall by 8" diameter, making it perfect for dried flowers or of course a table top Christmas tree!
 
The finish has darkened from use with some roughness at the back, it is in good vintage condition.
