A wonderful rosary, a souvenir from a pilgrimage to Lourdes. That in itself is enought to make it wonderful, but this rosary has beads of different shades of purple which I believe to be gem cut purple jasper, which has long believed to be a gem stone that gives inner strength and strength to ward off negativity, among many others!
 
The beads are a lovely in their colours from pale lavender to deep purple in the same bead. 
 
The medal shows Notre Dame (Our Lady) at Lourdes and has the initials ND on the other side with a crown and anchor. The cross is 2" long and both are made of silver coloured metal.
 
The drop of this remarkable rosary is 16"
