Faisselles or French farmhouse cheese strainers are usually in stoneware but thesr are made of metal, they have been aged to perfection through time and use, having a dark metal finish under part worn tinning. 
 
The holes make them perfect as candle holders with a tealight popped inside, as they sparkle through the holes and illuminate the inside, reflecting off the metal making a warm glow.
 
There are initially four available, please select from the pull down menu. The large is just under 5" tall and 4.75" diameter and the medium just over 3" high and 4" in diameter. Please not one of the medium size is slightly smaller than the others in diameter by 1/4". 
 
If using as a candle holder, please place on a heat resistant surface and be aware they may become hot to the touch.
