Such a cheerful early summer rose painting, original oil on board. It is signed A Raquidel and dated 1961. Hard to believe (for me anyway) that this ie 63 years old!
 
 It is not an artist I am familiar with, but they have created a beautiful vase of floral joy, the painting caught my attention immediately, not only because of the exuberantly colourful tea roses but the beautiful blue background and the skillful use of light coming from the left which creates such interest.
 
The painting comes in its original wooden and gilt frame, but could very easily be removed if required The back of the painting shows the authenticity of patina commensurate with the age of the painting.
 
The painting measures 20" by 23"
