I have to admit to a bit of an addiction to cache clous, to such an extent that my dealer contacts in Paris are searching for them for me! As well as their original use of hiding the hanging nail for a picutre,  they look wonderful in vignettes or even framed.
 
So here is a delightful smaller pair, the size was chosen to balance the size of the picture. They are 1.25" in diameter and you can see in thethird picture the little 'sleeve' that popped over the nail.
