Featuring the Eiffel Tower and the Exposition Universelle pavillions, dated in very small numbers 1900, this would have been a treasured souvenir of an amazing experience visiting the World Exhibition, a vast and marvellous event.
 
It would have sat on Madame's dressing table as a reminder and been used for storing treasured jewellery.
 
The lid has a hand painted image which has some signs of wear through age and the original blue green silk cushion, a little wear but still delightful.
