A scarce polychromatic confiture pot from Felix Potin Paris, with the addresses of the two Paris stores this was sold in, Bulevard Sebastopol and Boulevard Malsherbes. Notably it doesn't mention the flagship Rue de Rennes store in Paris 6ème so this pot predates its opening in 1902.
This pot is a dug find and it has the mark of some vegetation it was buried with in the side at the base, making this pot a true original piece in its condition today , this is in addition to the attractive marbeled patination throughout the pot.
It measures 5.5" tall and has crazing and discolouration but no chips or cracks
