Poulain has been a French favourite brand of drinking chocolate and coffee since 1848. The brand is well loved  in France and the 'Poulain' pony, seen on this tin is instantly recognised.
 
The tin has some marks of use and small amouts of rusting, especially on the lid, giving it a gentle patina and a functioning lid.
