Wonderfully designed antique Badonvilliers water jug with a beautiful form, flowing lines and a rounded shape, in wonderful sky blue; roses on one side and chrysanthemums on the other in an elegant Art Nouveau style. The detailing is charming, with flowers on the lip, underneath and around the rim.
 
The attractive floral stamp on the base, confirms it was made in the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th.
 
It is in great preloved condition, the colour is clear and the glaze remains shiny, with only a small loss on the tip of the handle, shown in close up, measuring 5" tall and 8" long across the handle. 
 
This ewer displays beautifully and is delightful as a vase.
