Characterful and good quality French early 20th century brass chamberstick style candle stick with a functioning candle slider,  with the warm deep shine aquired only by older brass.
 
The cupped base is stable and catches any drips, protecting the table.
 
In good clean condition, with only a few age marks patinating the brass, it stands 7.5" tall.
